Is your sport programming up to standard for Quebec’s new “Protection of Integrity” policy?
If you are in the Canadian Sport Community, you may have heard that the province of Quebec recently released tightened policies around complaint management and other safe sport processes. As of February 2021, Quebec has put into effect an updated “Policy, Rules, and Procedures Regarding the Protection of the Integrity”, which places stricter responsibility on sport federations and organizations to protect its members by providing them a safe, fair, and trusted environment.
About the Policy
The updated policy covers all cases of abuse, harassment, negligence, or violence. New requirements for sport organizations include a formal process for dealing with complaints of abuse. While specific requirements are likely to change, our technology is highly adaptable to your organization’s particular needs. When in action, the policy applies to all those involved in the sport community including members, participants, parents, volunteers, employees, officers, suppliers, clients, etc.). In short- everyone!

How Interpodia Technology is helping Quebec Sport Organizations!
We create processes and systems to help make sport safer.
We offer robust and flexible registration and administration processes for coaches and officials that ensure that individuals meet the certification and screening required for their role. These processes involve certification pathways at a PSO and NSO level, self-management features to streamline administration, course registration and evaluation reporting, awarding and tracking education points, external system integrations with screening providers, and learning management systems. We provide a flexible system that is connected to real-time public and private directories with digital credentials that are branded for each sport organization.
We enable the digital logging and tracking of complaints.
A digital complaints tracking process can assist with automating the logging of formal complaints, and swiftly notifying the Complaints Director. As well as providing the Complaints Director with a complaint management interface for processing, storing notes, status, dates, supporting documentation, and actions taken.
The license/ certification status of an individual can be directly altered right on the same page as the complaint, so that a Complaints Director can quickly suspend a coach if needed and automatically hide them from the coach or official directory and update their digital credential in their Apple Wallet or Google Pay app.
We provide technology for digital agreements, attestations, and code of conducts.
We provide industry-leading processes for handling and storing digital agreements. With specific features to handle the scenarios when the registration is completed by a third party (family member or coach) and also the handling of parental agreements for those under the age of majority calculated based the registrant’s actual age at the time of registration and the geographical jurisdiction’s age of majority.
We offer strict data security
Our servers and database infrastructure is based in Montreal, QC. Compliant with all Canadian privacy legislation. The data stored is exclusively owned by the organization that collects it and it is not accessible or shared with any other organizations unless authorized.
